Once you have started your “new life”, it might happen that you wish to change your job.
This is possible, but in Germany you need to get a new approval in the first two years. This needs to be requested at the local immigration authority where you live. Bear in mind that you should request the appointment/change directly once you signed your new offer, as you are officially only allowed to switch once that procedure has been done.
In some cities, it might be possible for the employer to accelerate this process. In Berlin for example, the employers may request an employer change (Arbeitgeberwechsel) at the Business Immigration Service here.
