University Degree Recognition for Higher Education
- To apply for a master's with a non-EU bachelor's, you generally need to legalize/apostille your degree and academic transcript, obtain sworn translations into the destination language, before submitting an application to the university.
- Apostille: If your country is part of the Hague Convention, get an Apostille stamp on your documents.
- Legalization: If not, documents must be legalized through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your country and the target country’s Embassy/Consulate.
- Sworn Translation: Translate all documents (degree, transcript) into the target language (e.g., Spanish or German) by a sworn translator recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Partial Recognition: If you are not finished with your studies, you may request "partial validation" from the university to continue studies.
